iPod Problem

Hi,,

My friend's Ipod suddenly stopped working. He daily takes it to college, It was working fine in the college. He even charged it for 3-4 hrs after bringing it back to his house. Its still not working. The Model is I Pod Shuffle 512mb, the light goes like, Amber, Green, Amber, Green, Amber.....

What could be the problem??

did he drop it or did it got pressed in betwenn smthing 2 hard ?

try doing a format using itunes and upload the latest firmware..

hey i didnt drop my ipod......some buttons may have been pressed......but it doesnt even gets connected with my system......i even tried reinstalling my softwares and i tunes but still i face the same probs.....any suggestion plzzzzz :huh:

do a format, dunno abt the shuffle, but mini can be done by pressing the menu and the select button for 5 seconds, try tht.. or search for the format combo in the manual

I tried everything but it ended up in vein my ipod fails to get connected with itunes........but my system detects it...and the ipod doesnt even start....but i hve warrenty period left :no:

if ur system detects it, then dont use itunes to transfer songs, use sm other program. like Ephpod
