Ipod service center in chennai

Ma frinds ipod vdo 30gb classic felldown from his hand a week back wahile he was traveling in bus....he is in chennai...we asked lot of people abt repair and alll, but none of them know aby any service center there in chennai...

Problem is that....Screen got broken and it is not starting...a tic-tic sound comming out 4m harddisk...and it shows a sad icon:(

Please let me know any autorized serice center there in chennai....

not worth the headache .. that tic-tic sound from the hdd means the HDD head has crashed so your HDD needs replacment..+ the screen is broken

...

the cost of the HDD and the screen + repairs will come to close to the price of a new one
 
Well, better go to an apple authorized service center once and let them check it out, though from the description, i doubt it ll b repairable :( heres a list for chennai:

i read that the tic tic sound is caused by some cable inside making contact with the hard disk while it is spinning due to the hard drive being moved.
