iPod Shuffle 2GB or Creative Zen Stone Plus 2GB ???

depends a lot on personal choice. apple ipod has the flaunt value whereas creative stone plus has great features.
 
I am not a showoff person and features are more important for me. Moreover i want something which i can clip on my tshirt etc for my morning walks / jogging
 
Is the sound quality of creative zen good. I currently have sony ericsson w800i and use it with my EP-630 and i like it. I know we cannot compare a mp3 player and a phone but still.
 
+1 for Sansa clip ... although the navigation for both sansa and Create Zen Stone plus suck, but Sansa Clip has better features - it is like a USB stick, so doesn't need a wire plugin, and looks are better than Zenstone as well. I have personally tried both (gifted the SANSA to my sis), so can tell you that I would prefer a SANSA for myself as well :)

Edit: The creative Zenstone Plus does have the clip, I own one so I know :) Its not on the body though, it attaches itself to the cover.

Even am in a same situation (need an mp3 player to use during my cardio workout). But confusion is between Zen stone plus and Sansa Clip.

From what i researched Sansa clip have better interface than the stone. Can any one tell about this.
 
As I said, interface for both is crappy. Maybe I don't have proper ID3 tags, but browsing on the Zenstone is certainly PITA. Sansa is a little better in this regard. Sound quality - I'll leave that to the audiophiles, I can't make out any difference. Definitely better than the older iPods though :). Haven't listened to the new ones, so can't say.

However, Sansa doesn't have a clip and Creative does :P. Sansa provides a string to hang the player in your neck though :P

I have bought both players and used them, and would suggest you go for SANSA. It also has the expandable memory (MICRO SD I think) option, and price for both are the same.

what are the ir prices and will they give output when clubbed with creative ep-630
 
Prices are identical - I purchased both for 2750 bucks in Mumbai - Sansa from Alpha and Zenstone from Mahavir on Lamington Road ... and yes they take standard 3.5 mm earphones if that is what you are worried about :P
 
I would recommend Transcend T.Sonic series (610 or 615). It was my first player and worked without problems for more than a year till I lost it a month back. After that I purchased Sans Express 2gb and been a disappointed user.

I suggest Transcend for its features (A-B repeat, good battery life, intuitive interface and lots of accessories). You can have a 2 gb for less than 2k and with 1 year warranty.
 
Bought a sansa clip 2Gb for 2k. Looks neat, will post my experience after using it for a while.
 
Black :) Man this is so tiny i didn't expect it to be of the same size as shuffle and zen stone. The UI is pretty good actually. Sounds better than the T-Sonic 610. 2k for this is a really good price :D. Better product over the Zen stone easily :D

Edit: It looks better than how its shown in sandisk website :lol: , will post the pictures later :P
