iPOD touch OR iPad 1 or iPad 2?

I am looking for a portable entertainment gadget from Apple. I am confused whether I need to go for iPod touch or Ipad 1 or 2?

without considering the price difference, what advantage is there with ipad comapred to ipod?

I am NOT looking for 3G.

Unless ofcourse if portability for you means moving around within your home.

If u want something portable then ipod touch. For home use Ipad definately. Its that simple.

Well, first of all you are comparing wrong products. You shoud decide probably based on the following questions:-
1. What is the primary need? Listen to Music & occasional music videos (mostly during Travel) OR is it for replacing PC for casual browsing / Watching movies during long Travels (during vacation / travel).
2. Of course Price (even though you have stated not to be compared). This is a biggest thing - The Price is almost double.

For home .... i suggest IPAD good for movies, browsing n playing games too

for a portable one obviously iphone ...which has ipod touch + phone too..... i feel ipod touch is for kids where u don't want 2 give phone to them....

galaxy tab won't beat apple ipad from user interface point of view ... ofcourse rate matters but u feel the difference when u use both of them.
