IPT login issue: can't log in

Im just wondering, I have been trying to use that password reset and it says the email address that I entered is not in their database... I have emailed ipthelp@gmail.com but no response... Im devistated. I hope they reply to my email....
 
Thank goodness I found this forum, I'm having the same problems as you guys. My main problem is that I forget what email address I used to sign up with my account. I've contacted them by email yesterday and still haven't heard back. I love IPT, I can't live without it! I don't know if I'll be able to reset my password. Damn.

I tried the irc chat thing and I'm so lost. Somehow I made it into the chat room then it says type "/msg nickserv register your_password_here your_email_here". Are they asking for your nick name on IPT, password, and email? I'm so lost.

EDIT: Ok, nice! I got my account back. I was able to use IRC chat, I contacted IPT at the email given by jjmandss, they reminded me what my email address was, I was able to sign in, restore my password, and now my life is good. Life is good. :D :D
 
Can you PLEASE tell me how to do that??? I am in the same boat as you . I cant remember what email address I have on file with them.... I am freaking out!!!

Email them again. Their email server crashed yesterday so they most likely never got your email (they never answered mine back too). But I emailed them today and they sent me an email back within 10 minutes. Just tell them that you can't log in and that you can't remember the email address you used to sign up your account, therefore you can't recover your password. They will help you out.

Tell me if everything works out. You can celebrate with me. :clap::bounce:
 
UPDATE ::::

The email password reset is back up. Just got my temp pwd by email...was able to log in and change the pwd successfully.

Tested by logging out again and logging back in a couple of times.... all fine and dandy.
 
I have emailed them twice with no response... I will try again tomorrow. I cant figure out how to use that IRC thing.

Mohit was right that we all were being desperate. But What could we do? We couldn't do anything in the case. So :fear::down::eek::oops:

I hope every one's account is back on track.
 
We have restored IPT Database with a 24 hours old backup, those who had problem logging in,

please try to logon with your old password.

now new passwords not working

old password is working

and surprizingly my upload count and bonus points have also been decreased back to 2 days old one

means the upload that i did and the bonus points that i got during this period not counted,

back to wat it was before this login issue occured!

now wat the hell is that!!

EDIT : Please do not open Help Desk ticket mentioning you lost some GBs, we can't help you. sorry.

same thing has happened to me man. I have lost almost around 6-7 GBs of upload and 20-25 Bonus points. :@

But anyways everything is back on track so no big deal for me.

TO ALL IPT USER: If your login fails, try to login with your old password.

just request another pwd reset from the "lost pwd" option.

U will get a temp pwd

Using the temp pwd, reset the pwd back to what it was until tuesday (whatever your old pwd was)
 
^did u update during this period , all uploads during this period were restored back to normal,

if u didnt do any upload during this period , so u didn't lose anything! :)
 
im haveing same problems, only thing is when i put in my email to reset my password, it says " The email address was not found in the database. " I know this is the email addy because i still see the IPTorrents Password Change Conformation Email from a week or so earlier when I did it then. anyone have any ideas ?
