IPv6 on Airtel?

Hello,

I have a router that supports IPv6 (a Linksys WRT54GL) but I'm not sure about my router: A Beetel 450-TC1 provided by my ISP: Airtel. Does anyone know if I'm supposed to be able to get IPv6 connectivity? I can't.

Er no, AFAIK , very few ISP's in the world have switched to IPv6 , airtel is definitely not one of them.

Sify has IPv6. But for mainstream IPv6 adoption we have to wait, as its not gonna happen anytime soon. maybe around 2015

There is progress and this is something which ISPs would have to do with/without will because shortage of IP addresses. however it requires ISPs to overhaul their entire network, which can't be done in a day..
