Iqara or Tata Indicom (in Mumbai)?

here's my situation... been with exatt for the past 3 mths, paying 3.5k per mth for 512k unlimited... but as expected, i'm getting nowhere close to that speed, not to mention days of downtime

so enough is enough, now that my 3mth prepaid period is expiring, i'm gonna switch.. i'm gonna sign up for MTNL 256k plan with nights unlimited since it has the least downtimes, but i also need to get a 2nd connection that allows me unlimited downloads mainly for BT... so i've shortlisted Iqara (now You Telecom) and Tata Indicom, both 256k unlimited plans... Airtel's service has not reached my area yet so that's out...

i've heard horror stories abt customer service for both Tata and Iqara, but which is the better of the two? from what i read, Tata Indicom seems to give good speeds for both download and upload, and downtimes are not too frequent... Iqara gives good speeds, that is when it works...

so would really like to hear some feedback from those who have used or are using Tata and Iqara. thanks!

TATA hardly has any downtimes... atleast in blore and their customer service is retarded but gets the job done. Never had a problem yet.

I would second it... Tata is obviously the choice... They have good infrastructure... surely.. Have never had any issues in Hyderabad.

My accnt got deactivated for 16hrs because they thought my bill due date was 23rd Nov and not 27th Nov. I called guy up when I reached home from office @ around 10:30AM. The guy said there is some mistake from there side and said that they would rectify within 4 working hours once their finance dept opens. Then he said that He would be lying if he promised me that it would be activated in the night itself. That earned them a lot of loyality points from me.

Its activated now, neways.

I would say take Tata Indicom.

If u ask me,iqara is the better one...i am using it for the past 2.5 years with only 4 hrs downtime overall till now in all these years.

Their customer care is the best i have seen (atleast for my place,visakhapatnam).

Dont even think about iqara, Gamers i know have had loads of problems and sh1tty service. Also, they arent getting full speeds, and dont even ask about pings to gaming servers. Lol.

a lil OT but my cablewalais givin me 512k unlimited from exatt for 2.1k!! how did u end up payin 3.5k per month??
