IRC (Internet Relay Chat)

Please can somebody guide, how to learn using IRC(Internet Relay Chat) ?
I've goggled a-lot, but most of them I found were talking about history or talking about command-line options. I'm a very-newbie and eager to learn IRC.

Please let the valuable-suggestions keep flowing.

IRC is a form of chatting whcih unlike othet chat options does not leave any trace,it is mostly used my hackers to avoid being tracked by the authorities.It is like P2P chatting,u do not need to registered anywhere,all u need is a nickname and an IRC client

If you use Firefox u can get the Chatzilla addon or get a standalone irc client such as mIRC

freenode is a good server for tech talk, dalnet for general, rizon for anime, undernet for downloads

IRC is mainy a chat-room where you join a specific room(called channel) and talk there.
