Iriver is available in India and u can shop online at the iriver India website . Its priced at 2200/- . http://www.iriverindia.com/proddetails.asp?prodId=24&mcid=28

Its priced in the US at 44$ @newegg , so that makes it abt 2000 bucks .

P.S ----> Its named absurdly at the Indian Iriver website .

Just checked up in 3 different places here and they do not have it anywhere. One ICEWARE store did not even know what the hell I was talking abt.

In another Iceware store, he told me that iriver have not launched it in India yet. I asked him if it would be launched soon.

He said that he didnt know.

So, the question of price does not arise at all. The damn thing is not even available.

Anyone in Mumbai or somewhere else know for sure that it is available??

looks a fantastic tool to possess.
I love FM transmitters i used t oplay with it.
Stream music from my PC to Radio as my PC and my study table are in different room ;)

this baby is powered up by the cigarette lighter socket of the car , i was wondering , if i wanted to use it at home , whatz the best way i cud power it up ? .

I am gonna get this.. BUT

1) I neeed to know the range of this(very important.. there are legal implications otherwise

2) and what about clarity and max range

EDIT:

Range 10feet. This plain sucks. I was thinking of 100m.

damn no use this for me :p

the itrip is available for approx 1.7K in chennai (got it today)...but then again, the range is not more than the iriver....

However, it can draws it power directly from the ipod... :)

The sound quality is pretty decent for a FM tmtr
