Greetings,

I am Ironduke, the administrator of the World Affairs Board, a political/military discussion board. I came across the board through a link in Joey's sig. Thought I'd drop by and say hi.

One of my interests, in addition to political and military debate and discussion is computers. I'm not big into programming -- the most advanced class I took was C++ in high school.

I have built a few computers for friends and co-workers, my favorite hardware brands are Asus (mobos/video cards/optical drives), WD (HD), Intel (processors), Antec (case), and Kingston (RAM). I'm not into building the highest end systems I can -- I like to build systems that are the best quality and bang for the buck. I overclocked a 3.0Ghz Pentium 4 to 4.5GHz or so once. :)

Anyhow, I'll probably post here and there sporadically, perhaps if a have a hardware question every now and then.

:welcome: to TE mate.

Yes, Joe(x86) did mention about you and your site. Nice to know to that you liked our site.

Once again, a hearty welcome to TE, have a great time here.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I'll be dropping in time to time with inquiries about computer hardware. Looks like the perfect place to ask.

I also wanted to inquire if it would be possible to exchange stickied threads in forum sections relevant to each others forums, as we're both well-trafficked forums with non-competing subject matters.

^ Matt, Joe did talk about affiliation and link exchanges.

We can surely take this forward, the best foot forward would be that you and the Admins get into a one to one banter.

I would ask the Admins to get in touch with you, meanwhile please feel free to PM them on the same.

Thanks.

I'll shoot them a PM one of these days, in the mean time I think I'll check out the board a bit more to get a better feel for it. :)
