21-30k Is an upgrade worth it?

So my current rig is starting to show its age. The core components are - AMD 2600, 16GB RAM, AMD 6650 GPU. I play games at 1440p. And I think the CPU in that is a bottle neck. I was thinking of upgrading but I am not sure if I do then my GPU might end up being a bottleneck?

Currently Budgeted at 30k tops. Need new components. Open to AMD or Intel.

So my question is, if I get a new CPU/Mobo/Ram Combo (and what would you recommend) would it be worth an upgrade? Would I see performance improvements? I cant replace the GPU for another 2 years at least. So if the performance improvement is negligible without replacing the GPU, I am going to stick with what I have.

How about you tell us your CPU and GPU utilization % in various games - that should make it clear where is the bottleneck something like this.
As you can see I am running an older CPU with lower # of cores and cpu bottleneck isn't a major problem for me.

At 1440p your GPU is likely going to be the most bang for buck updrade. You can upgrade just the CPU down the line since it is an AM4 board.

OP needs to extend his budget a bit more so can help can upgrade to AM5 platform which will last another 4 years or so and even more.

gpu is fine for 1080p gaming, should upgrade RAM, CPU and mobo, can get a 5800x and 16x2gb cl30 ddr4 memory
Keep it to am4 since you tight on budget, and if going for 1440p the you can upgrade your gpu too if you have budget but if you fine with 60fps keep the one you have
