Is Beam Telecom (Hyd) throttling public tracker based torrents ?

So I've been noticing this for quite a while now when trying to download 'freshly released' files from public trackers with 1000s of seeders & leechers, I get very low speeds 50-150 KBps.

However using pvt trackers is super blazing fast at the same instant.

Could this be the doing of the ISP in anyway ?

but it only seems to happen with public torrent traffic .. everything else works fine. Pvt. Torrents work well.
 
@dexBG How is the uptime for you? My connection is down at least 36 hours every month. That's 95% uptime a clear violation of TRAI's target of 99% uptime.
 
Excellent uptime, sometimes minor login issues that go away after restarting the router.

36 Hours is way too much, I don't use mine 24x7 but at home I've never experienced any loss of service in the last few months.
 
Their service is degrading day by day and FUP caps are longer Fair. I am planning to switch ISP.
Even uptime was excellent few months back, past 2 months have been really irritating.
 
few pages don't load. even isup.me isn't loading sometimes. there seems to be dns issue.
can anyone confirm that?
