I am AMD X4 635 with Gig 785 GT mobo. I also have a Biostar 8400GT. I want to know which of these is better in terms of Graphics power and can we combine them to use them both?

8400GT should be slightly better, but if it was 8400GS, then they would be almost similar matched. And there is no way to combine the power of both are both are from different stables.

They are probably be pretty identical honestly. HD4200 would probably be less heat and power, but no dedicated RAM , therfore 8400GT is much better ..

same as said before..as long as cooling (active cooling on the card and associate noise if any) is fine..go for the 8400GT and as the above user mentioned..U can save on RAM by going with a dedicated GFX card.

^ you are very correct.

It 8400GT is in cuda support list.

If you have a discrete graphic card, why do you want an onboard. Onboard one shares system ram.

Yep, dude even though amd and nvidia are rivals, AMD has a buisness to run!
