Hi i need a new cabby, range 3K,
i really like the design of CM Elite 430/431
do not want transparent side panel.

Is this a good buy. any good alternatives.
do not like the NZXT gamma / source 210

Also any reviews for the Elite 311 Plus

See this video and decide. I too hated the looks of NZXT Gamma, but after buying it, I realize that it does not look that bad and the build quality is just exceptional for a cabinet priced less than 2.5k

+1. GAMMA can accomodate 5+2 HDDs and lengthy gfx cards, cpu backplate window, lots of 120mm fan slots, sturdy built, black interiors, bottom PSU and toolless design. What more for <2.5k. Im 110% satisfied with GAMMA.

which is actually a great piece of engineering that the designers at NZXT came up with. The sloped front allows the 120mm fan to suck in more air -- simply due to the larger surface area presented by the sloped front, compared to a standard flat front mesh.

My dibs... get the NZXT Gamma -- cheapest cabinet, most mod-able piece and most importantly one of my friends had an issue with Cooler Master eLite 430, could not contain a standard P55 ATX board from Gigabyte.

Dude i jst got gamma worth every penny..if you barely need of a cabby now then go for gamma !! Or just wait for the availability of source 220/tempest 210...

I bought this case for my build and it is very spacious also the build quality is very good but i am worried about the fan slots which might allow dust.
So how many and how should the fan be placed and also how to avoid dust.

^^ Put one fan ~ 120mm in the front mesh, just ahead of the Hard drive cage. Add one more fan on the top [for balance between air being pumped in and air being booted out] OR two in case you want a negative air pressure system [more air being forced out than air being brought in].
