Laptops Is it ok to buy acer timeline 5810t

Hi friends,

I'm planning to buy a laptop for this diwali. After searching a lot i came across this acer timeline 5810t (8hrs backup). So, is it ok to buy it or do i have to think of something else.

Purpose: Browsing internet ( I will open three browsers simultaneously), ms word, watching movies, music, and some light games ( like counter strike)..

Please give me your suggestions..

You will able to play games like counter strike IMO. But like counter strike only.

What's the price for the it?

(I could see price varying between 31-35K on internet)

If all you need is power backup then definitely it's good choice.

but If that's not mandatory for you then think about Dell Inspiron 14 for budget of 30K
 
hi , price is around 35k..

Can i use multiple browsers with acer timline 5810t.. it uses intel core solo processor 1.4 ghz. is it equal to P IV 2.4 ghz processor.

yes... If you really need that much longer battery life then its Ok, otherwise their are many better models out their, performance wise. .

2) HP Pavilion DV6 1110ax(Best choice if you wanna game laptop in budget of 45K)
3) Acer Aspire 5738
4) Acer Aspire 5739g .....
And many more...
List can go on further

In Accordance to your purpose, your budget is very high. IMHO you will easily get good laptop in 35-40K, Even 30K. which can fulfill your purpose.

But if you are willing to spend 45K then surely go with HP DV6 1110ax. You will get flawless gaming experience. And will be able to play all latest games with decent resolution. And Yes, you will definitely be able to open multiple browsers:P:bleh::P:P:rofl::tongue:
