Hi Friends,
I got a Samsung Fully Automatic WM couple of weeks back. The earthed socket was too far off. So currently running the WM via a Anchor Spike buster connected to a earthed socket.(The currect LED glows in the spike buster indicating the socket is earthed)

Is it ok to continue to run it off a spike buster or should i immediately get extra inlet and outlet tubes and directly plug it into the earthed socket.

Well it shouldn't be a problem since the WM is electronic/electrical appliance inductive load like a smps wo,but i wouldn't choose the hot water options, since the heating coil typically will consumer around 1900watts,which may exceed the spike buster rating.

The WM doesnt have any hot water options. Just normal soak, wash, rinse, spin and Air turbo. The Spike buster is a Anchor One (Cost was only Rs.260). Even the service guy told its ok to run it off a spike buster but i wanted to make sure.

nothing wrong for the WM, but your spike buster might die a premature death, if the load of the WM is greater than the spike buster's rated load

Well in that case there shouldn't be any problems, but you can expect the the indicator lights in anchor going kaput it wont effect the performance in anyway ,they don't use good quality lights.
