Is it possible to copy files from Citrx to local desktop?

I not sure this is in the right category and I am not sure whether this is a stupid question or not. But here goes.

I work from a UK citrix. And I want to use the rather excellent speed (16 MBPS) to download some other stuff. I can get a pen drive but how do I move the file from the citrix desktop to the pen drive?

the way we copy files from their network to ours is if you can mount your local drive on citrixs windows explorer/similar app

the server might have 16MBPS , but what about the link from the UK server to your system?
