Was lookin for a video conversion program---something that would compress lower quality mpeg and mpeg 2 files----came across this easy to use program called Super.

So my question is , whether it's safe to install these programs or will installing them mess up other codecs req. for video playback....i mean will the codecs that come with SUPER in any way mess up my high def. video playback?? Hope you got my question.

Shouldnt be a problem. Try mediacoder tho, I like it better than super :)

Handbrake is prefered by most these days. [Havent tried it yet , will give it a try]

I still prefer

1.> AviSynth Script + Virtual Dub with Custom CQM's [Not for one click users]

2.> Media Coder this was more customizable and feature rich than Super.
