Graphic Cards Is it worth it to buy 9070xt now?

Speaking of prices, I'd rather compare Indian pricing to European pricing. American sales tax (which varies by each state) never reaches above 10% for PC parts. European countries have a 20% VAT rate for PC parts, which is closer to our GST i.e. 18%. German and Portuguese pricing should provide the best estimate. The 5070Ti has fallen below MSRP in the US, but not yet elsewhere from what I can infer.
USD to INR conversion for electronics has been at $1 = ₹100 for quite some time now.

These prices support that even now for a good estimate:
$699 9070XT starts at 70k in India (talking about real US price)
$470 5060Ti is 46k or so in India
$299 5060 is 30k here

5070Ti in US has been as low as $829, here lowest was 86k, so slight premium but still in the same ballpark.

The premium we have to pay in India for a 9070xt is much more than the premium we pay for a 5070ti, considering the MSRP of both cards. Combined with inferior ray tracing, upscaling and much higher power consumption, I'm starting to sway more towards 5070ti.

AMD cards have a high price globally, it's not just India. Hardware Unboxed's Tim even ripped AMD apart for the fake MSRP that AMD promised. AMD originally intended to sell the 9070XT for $650 (the new MSRP was based on rebates), and considering that, I'd say we aren't paying that much over the intended MSRP.

There are sellers selling 9070xt for 69k now. At MSRP, taking into account $1 = Rs. 100.
For the performance you get, I don't think it's a bad price.

Can it be better? Maybe possibly go closer to 60k? I hope, but we all know no retailer would be able to hit that.

It will get better with time, but not anytime soon (say in next 3-4 months).
