Laptops Is it worth upgrading this laptop?

Hey guys. Recently, I posted a laptop for sale here and since it isn't getting any offers, been planning to keep it for myself and use the laptop for as long as it can until it stops serving my purpose. (Was selling it since it wasn't portable enough for me personally and needed the cash for an upgrade.)

I was wondering if it was worth upgrading it. I might use it for some light e-Sports games like LoL, Valo, CSGO, etc. I was planning to buy a 480GB SSD from Crucial and upgrade from 4GB RAM to 8GB. It is a Core i3-5005U laptop. Dunno if its worth upgrading but my bros might use it for some gaming. If possible, maybe even Rainbow Six Siege. Should I go ahead with the upgrade or just leave it? Been meaning to upgrade to a Mac later this year if M1X/M2 gets released. I personally use this laptop mostly for work and some personal writing projects of mine.

What do you guys think?

Yeah. Hence mostly eSports titles like Valo, CS etc. Not expecting 60 fps or something, obviously. Just wondering if it's worth it though.
