PC Peripherals Is kingston value RAM good?

Yes kingston value ram is good and it is always good to buy kingston ram with hynix chips because normal unbranded hynix ram are all fake and it difficult to find original hynix ram. Also kingston ram comes with 3-5years warranty.
 
Eh instead get twinmos 512MB with the mtec chips. Cheaper and generally overclocks better than hynix chips.
 
Or you can try Kingmax ram. Bought it fot 1900 a month ago and it overclocks to 240 Mhz at 3-3-3-8 at 1T timings. Also Kingmax uses their own chips and they are same for all their 512 Mb rams, so you know what you are getting.
 
Does kingmax ram come with warranty? Also i have read that kingmax ram uses powerchip which is not good. only on the chips it is renamed as kingmax.
 
Yes kingmax comes with a 3 year warranty or I would not have included it as an alternative to Twinmos and Kingston both of which come with a 3 year warranty.

I dont know if they use powerchip or not as I have not read they use their own proprietary chips. But since they overclock as well as the Twinmos I thought if you can find them it wouldnt hurt to buy them.

But buy Twinmos first if you find them. The problem with Kingston is that you will not know what chips they have as they could use anything. Plus they cost more than Twinmos and Kingmax.

If you want another option, you can get Zion ram which costs the same as Twinmos. They have genuine Hynix d43 chips and also come with a 3 year warranty.
 
So where can i get kingmax ram at lamington road in mumbai ? Also is Tinybga series available or only superram series ?
 
Transcend, Twinmos RAM is not available in my city but zion is. I don't know whether the kingston RAM that is available with my dealer is value or not but it costs Rs 1250/- for 256 MB. Based on the price, can anyone tell me whether it is value RAM. Thx.
