Android Is nexus 6 future proof?

Hello

I have almost made up my mind to buy a nexus 6.But I am worried about all this 64 bit processor hype.I plan to use this device for around 3 years.But I have heard that as nexus 6 doesn't have a 64 bit processor,future updates will not supported.I can wait for sometime for new phones to launch in 2015 but price is a big factor.I can only spend 45k.I have read rumours of htc one m9 and xperia z4 but I am concerned about the price.So what should I do?

I am sure it should be fine. Future updates of android will be compatible with both 64 and 32 bit processors I am sure. Like it is with iOS. Not even sure if processor type matters (bit) with regards to updates.

Also every nexus device has guaranteed soft support by google up to 18months...So it can at min last u 2yrs...
