Is Radio walkie talkie allowed in India

I am planning to buy Walkie-talkie for use in my home, so that i can remain in contact with other members on different floors.

Planning to import something like these

I think you need a set that works in license free frequency range.

Btw, why not using in home intercom or epbx? I think a small 1-10 lines may be allowed for home use. Not sure though.

Why don't you just use a multi handset cordless phone which has push to talk.

You can use CB radio or which works on 27mhz or any 2.4ghz ones ,all other requires a license from WPC.
