Forum Feedback Is Search broken?

The search results are very odd. If I search for something like 'PSP' it says no results. Is this because there are no threads with the keyword PSP?

But when I search for something like fridge, It gives me multiple results. Whats up with that? Does it only search by keywords put in when creating a thread?

I think its because 3 letter keyword searches are not allowed (too big a load on the server).

Odd though, usually it will say that xyz keyword was too short to display results for.

Alternatively, you can add those search terms in Google and add 'Techenclave' towards the end. It would populate all the results instantly. That's how I find most of my games threads these days and there's no time restriction to perform the search either.

That's exactly how I search all sites, even if they have their own search feature

Thats what I did in the end. Just wondered how the TE search engine worked.

Yeah, or use site tag for searching on Google: site:techenclave.com - Google Search

Is there any way i can do a direct advanced search as before ?? I cannot seem to find any option to do so

xxxxx=topic, or text you are sure you plugged into the post..!
