For last 2 days on startup, I can see a ip conflict dialog box, and soon it vanishes off, even if i restart system shows that dialog box. :S
I can connect to internet , i wonder how 2 ips on same n/w can connect to network , this is against principle of MAC and ip address (Atleast from theory point of view)
Here on LAN many people play counter strike, so to play game even after ban people some thimes change their ip's. but at 8:00 AM , i dont think any one is playing CS. ;)

From LOG on server i can see no 1 is using my net connection.

today is Sunday so no 1 will listen to me today , 2moro will contact isp.

how can I get MAC address of another pc on network???

I use Windows XP Sp2 , My isp (Local cable provider) use cyberrom server.

:help: :help: :help:

Use some n/w scanners to findout the MACs.

Here is a tiny(96kB) scanner it scans the LAN and displays the host name,IP,MAC etc. info.

Now my system is showing conflict for all ips tht i use , till 172.16.254.254

Do i need to reinstall network drivers ?? or some thing is wrong with hub/router ??

Go you have a static ip address or u get one by dhcp.
