I am in chennai..

I got  stressed with my ITES job...

so i want to leave my job and going to start an internet browsing center, is this a good business to earn nowadays?? :(:(

I am not in chennai, but 1` thing for sure. Internet cafes bringing in 15-25 bucks an hour are charity.

All those who were regular users of net have broadbands installed in their homes now. Only occasional users use cafes.

So unless u have some unique proposition like gaming / music parlour etc dont go in for that.

True that !

With major operators offering attractive broadband packages, it's only a matter of time before they get their very own connection.

Gaming on the other hand still sees demand because not many have rigs powerful enough to handle the latest games, another aspect being that of LAN gaming.

What's more, you can also have consoles for added revenue.

A few gaming centres I'm aware of, continue to do good business with usual lot of gamers.

Unless you start one near an airport or railway station where people who forgot to print their tickets or are bored will come
