If I remember correctly, there is a 42 inch FHD plasma available in panny direct showrooms. The site does not have any info on the model. It costs around 1.25 lakhs. Although you can settle for the 50 inch HD ready model for few thousands less. Make sure when you call them to mention clearly that you want a full HD plasma, otherwise the sales pitch tends to be only about getting rid of PV80H or PV8H. No idea about Pioneer KURO, although in all possibilities it should be mega expensive
