But supra, I just wondered now as its even available for 5.2k with Dvdstore.

Seagate 2TB SATA 7200rpm 32MB Hard Drive New

Cant wait to order one, but still confusing as its not yet available in any US stores. The only think I heard for 2TB/7200 are Constellation and XT drives, but they r all 64MB na.

That says 5900 RPM to me. Can you check again? Not sure if there is a 7200 / 32 Seagate though.

Re: Is there any 2TB Seagate drive with 7200RPM/32MB catch

would rather not touch seagate and go for WD. better in terms of stability and quality. Personally, i've had my share of bad lucks using seagate and since the past 5 years, havent touched even one seagate.

In my experience both are having failure rates, but Seagate is good as I NEVER LOST MY DATA from a Seagate drive when ever it fails, I used to manage retrieving them, but around 4 of my WD drives failed, all the time full data lose.

LMAO, not quite but thats my experience with seagate hdd's
For me seagate has never given problems...never looked at WD...

Seagate had some pretty bad issues with 7200.11. But now they are about equal on unreliability. What can you do... hard drives aren't very reliable it seems. Personally I have never had a WD fail, but Seagate failed for me once but then it was 7200.11.
