Linux Is there any GUI for formatting a drive in KDE?

I was trying out the Gnome and KDE live CD's of Linux Mint 8 Helena.

In the Gnome version, I noticed that there is an option of formatting a drive in FAT32 if right click a drive in "My Computer".
But when I looked for the same thing in the KDE version, I could not find any such thing.

I checked in the KDE version of OpenSuSe 11.2 and could not find any such tool there.

Can anyone recommend a tool for KDE which can perform a similar task???

Under KDE4,

Kickoff Application Launcher (the start button like thingy) -> Computer -> YAST Control Centre (Administrator Settings) -> System -> Partitioner

That will do for me.

But I have been trying to introduce Linux as an alternative to Windows to my friends who are not very tech savvy.
I was looking to introduce them to KDE as it is very similar to Windows.
They wont like to go that far for such a simple task.
Is there anything which can appear in the right click context menu?

Alternatively, you could

Under KDE4,

Kickoff Application Launcher (the start button like thingy) -> Search Button on top ( Type partitioner)

I think you can find scripts for adding right click functionality to Dolphin from kde-look.org I believe....

(or write your own? :))

But yes, GNOME only recently got this right-click-format tool.. KDE should get it soon too

hi,
always remember linux is not windows. so dont waste your time making linux look and behave like windows.there would some differences.you shloud accept those changes. offfcource you need to unlearn window ways of doing things which is not easy.
plus, its not daily that you format. so it should okay for non tech users.
