Had read somewhere sometime back that the new version of IE would come with LIVE bookmarks.....They would be tied to ur passport account and u wud be able to access ur bookmarks from wherever u log in.....That wud really get some users running for IE.... Wonder what MS is doing?

I have saved a copy of my bookmarks in my Google email account in a special box I have made for it... often I find I need to check something in a site from my bookmarks when I am at a friends place.

Google Bookmarks works best for me. Atleast you don have to sign-up at any other website. Google Rocks!!

Its easily accessible from Firefox with a plugin called GMarks.

well...u can't always carry a floppy or a CD with u wherever u go.

but if u've got a net connection, then u know u've got the convenience of storing em over the web somewhere and access them whenever u need.

and it works fine wit the google toolbar... all u gotta do is sign in with ur google id.. thats it...

u can access them anywhere and edit them from anywhere too...

toolbar is both ie and firefox compatible...

if you are using firefox u can try foxmarks , its a bookmarks synchroniser extension for firefox Quite easy to setup...just a 1 time registration is required.
