Hi Guys,

I have an offer for brand new seal packed Samsung 830 128GB SSD at Rs 8,500. But there will be no refund, no bill, etc. as it is being imported by a friend's friend. Warranty is dependent on Samsung India honoring international warranty. Basically if I buy it, I can't go back to the seller in case of any problems with the drive later.

Is it worth it? I know its brand new, and Samsung has very good reviews in terms of reliability. 2nd best prices I could find is around Rs 11,150 at onlyssd.com.

Please suggest. I value your opinions on this forum.

Thanks,
StillWaters

If you're getting Samsung 830 128GB SSD for 8.5k then you can go it,Another option is to get a brand new OCZ Vertex 4 128GB SSD-8.5k OR Crutial M4 128GB-8.2k.I've heard people getting Vertex4 OR Crutial M4 instead of Samsung 830 so it's better if you get a new SSD with full warranty since it's within your budget.
