an MSI X620 with unbelievable specs. Can't believe it myself. Someone even asked the seller to confirm if it was an i3 , and he says it is(scroll to the bottom) .
If the specs are true, it should be an awesome deal.
What do you guys think?
 
I prefer the ACER in terms of specs:)

the above MSI model does not have a 5.1 output soundcard and no SPDIF/optical out. These are now more or less standard in all ACER models; very useful when u want to connect the laptops to HT systems
 
^^ This is the MSI X-Series compared to the Acer Timeline series which as of now does not come with Core i3 as yet !

I just called up the dealer and he confirmed me that this comes with 6-cell battery (most probably 4800 mah) and Core i3. This is just hell of a deal if anyone asks me :D
 
Interested. Have asked my local dealer for the pricing of the same. I guess its available in various colors...
 
I went to Chroma yesterday to check out this lappy. They have MSI CX 620 on display and MSI X340. I am still not able to get the latest specs for the X620 over the web. My local dealer says it would take time to get hands on this notebook.

I love this deal but find it too good to be true. Hands are itching. What to do :P
 
@ switch. what was the price of the CX620?

If its not here now, it will probably take eons, or someone at msi should want to sell it here. else our chances are slim
 
It was for 35K and it was not what i really wanted :P...

Have asked my seller for the final prices... Also have raised a question to the seller on ebay...

I had put up the few questions to the seller. This is what he responded with...

Ques. I am very interested in buying this lappy. Whats the ETA for the same. Also i don't see formal specs/pics of the lappy over the net. Can you direct me to a link where i can get detailed pics and full specs of this particular model. The X620 listed on the MSI comes with a C2D and not a Core i3.

Finally I wanted the lappy with 4Gb of RAM and without OS. Is that possible.

Ans: 1. ETA is 3-4 working days.

2. Newly released on 10th April,2010 worldwide.

3. The pics available are as seen in our listing.

4. C2D has been discontinued & Core i3 is now available.

5. Only brand new sealed box packed items with 2 years msi India Warranty are sold by us. System configuration or OS cannot be changed by us as we are resellers.

Its not the best deal as the GPU is not that great, considering u can get a dell with better GPU(HD5470) and 4GB RAM for 1k more(320GB HDD though).

Only +ve for this MSI is their 2yrs warranty though :)
 
Did you consider the size too... Also Dell will have worse battery life as compared to MSI cause of the GPU...
 
those who want the 5470 can get the CX620. which also has switchable gfx (dell doesnt)

this is the thin and light version, so gotta compromise somwhere

and this is better than the inspiron Z's 4330
 
called up my local MSI dealer, and they've just gotten new stock of these i3 X620's
config is a bit less ( 2GB ram, 250GB HDD, no OS) , and priced at 32K
I need a legit OS, so it doesn't make much sense.
asked them about the CX620 & 420. they said they'd revert

got a quote for the CX 620.
i3/2GB/320GB/DOS for 32k

not bad :D

I think my laptop hunt is finally coming to an end !

i bought it from croma 2 weeks ago , for 19999, paid 1900 more for 2 yrs warranty :P
