I'll need to use it only for about 3-4 months

I have an extra 160GB SATA laptop HDD, and was planning to use it to dump movies,etc

Can this type of casing damage the HDD, or when it fails, it will only be the casing that fails?

AFAIK, is availble in Lamington for about 150~180 bucks. Depends on how much you can bargain!
