I recently bought Sony A728 Walkman mp3 player, I want to watch Videos on this with my friend. I am planning to use a splitter available locally to get the output on 2 earphones. one is ep630 and the other the sony stock earphones.

Will this affect my player in the long run? I don't want to screw up the jack or something.

Also, will connecting cheap external speakers without power supply work? (Frontech etc. 2.0)

Pls dont go for cheap ones, i screwed up my Nano with one of those.

Buy griffin`s splitter, sure its expensive but its worth the money.

n yeah your battery life is gonna suffer.

avoid using splitters that just short each channels.

an active splitter based on op amps will not load walkman and output will not reduce also
