Electronics, Electrical for sure. not so sure about computer science. But my senior from CSD got Placed in Texas Instruments, a very good Electronics company. I think he will be working only on programming part there.
NIT Warangal has very good infrastructure and faculty and better than most of IITs in VLSI design. I remember them having best VLSI design lab of some sort allover ASIA.
If electronics is your area then BITS or NIT Warangal, Surathkal are best place to go, forget the rest. That branch demands latest infrastructure and highly qualified faculty.
BTW did you apply for DAIICT (Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology), the intake is based on AIEEE. i got call letter for that too. But i liked mechanical over ICT. Don't leave it if you applied for it. There they have only one branch ICT (Information and communication Technology). After studies you are sure to get very good placement. Even if you don't get it from outside companies, you end up in Reliance communications or ADLABS.
