Is watching Tv bad for eyes ?

Was thinking of getting a cheap full hd 43 inch tv for my bedroom to watch Tv and Movies on. However i already spend 7 hours in front of a laptop at office. Will this lead to vision problems ? anyway to safeguard my eyes ? also has anyone tried those patanjali eye drops that sting so much ? heard its good for eyes.

If u mean the entire radiation thing, then no

LCD tvs do not emit uv or any other rays

It is definitely bad for the brain. So, if it is just the eyes you are worried about, have fun, you are for most intents and purposes good to feast your eyes.

On a slightly less cheeky note, if you are watching it from a distance, and rest your eyes (by looking at something at a different distance ) and not do so in a dark room, you should do fine.

If you go by the recent Dish TV ad, yes.. it is harmful. SO get a Dish TV HD connection instead, and save your eyes..

well in a room i can see farthest to the wall only. so whether tv or no tv focus change would not be much i guess ? so Getting a Full HD/4k tv seems alright. What about the blue light that TVs emit ? heaed that's also harmful.
