Is wimax broadband technology the future in india??

I have heard that wimax is being launched in some parts of delhi this month and some say that it can reach speeds close to 70 Mbps.Also it won't be expensive compared to other optionshyeah: hyeah:

So my question is will it ever be a replacement for our home broadband internet and how long it will take to cover the whole of india.What are its disadvantages( if any) and will there be any download limits for home use??

is the "FMC" fixed monthly charges only Rs 30 + 40 per month? No need to buy the CPE/USB this time?

then its quite decent (relative to other current plans) for about rs 1k per month for 512k UL...

Hey comeone Wimax is for individuals too.I am Using VSNL 784KBPS plan for 1.6K per month,here in Nagpur.
The downtime---never for a sec in last 7 months.Even in rains.Yes its that stable.
Wimax is the future technology.
