Israel Hezbollah Pager Attack.

Another often misunderstood concept is currency exchange rate which too goes against "common sense".
There are multilevel discussions ongoing, with alternative to SWIFT, digital currency, etc.

Israel also supplies weapons to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan has mainly voted a Abstain for any resolution against Israel in the UN general assembly. So yes selling arms does help.
Azerbaijan is much more useful to Israel than that. It allows them a way to surveil Iran not that it would be too difficult when people are disaffected. But the part most miss is it would be the base or was for an Israeli attack on Iran. No need to cross any countries on the way in.

^this is from 2012
India was offered by Zhou Elai in 1962 to accept China's claim of Aksai Chin in exchange for Arunachal Pradesh.
But short sighted Nehru thought we might take it back and refused the offer.
How do you expect any Indian leader to accept such a deal? Its like breaking into your house and saying you can keep yourcoat but not your wallet.
forget about taking Aksai Chin back we are already in trouble waters in Arunachal.
No, we're not. Yangtze Dec 2022, PLA thought they they would take a ridge we have held since 1986 and what we used to get the upper hand in that standoff. From that ridge we can see their roads which means we can do a Kargil to them from there. And vice versa. So both sides want that ridge but only we retain control of it.

The plan was 350 PLA would overwhelm 50 of our guys stationed there. So at 3AM PLA set out to do just that only to discover 400 of our guys waiting. They got the thrashing of their lives. We chased them back to their barracks with our guys threatening to kill them and it only stops after they fire into the air.

Does this sound like we are in trouble in Arunachal?

If they think they can tie up our forces at the border we too can do the same to them. Anytime there is a Taiwan crisis ;)
China even took Rajiv Gandhi for a ride. he was told to lets continue business and let the border dispute be handled by future generations.
We prevailed over the PLA in '86 the same way as we did in the Kailash mountains in 2020. Rajiv wasn't taken for any ride. He was able to speak with them from a position of strength.

The PLA were made to understand that if they made any advances that India would move its border up to the Yarlung. Whether or not we would do so isn't important. The fact they believed it was enough. This was under General Sundarji who was running exercises near both borders at the time.

So what leverage will we have when country is run by such leaders who would keep loosing every opportunities coming there way.
Wecan defend our borders without needing to be in an alliance is all you need to know.
