I am using 802.11b/g WiFi Router from akeeo (http://www.amplebit.com/products.php) to connect to my cable broadband internet. Every time when i power up the modem and router,i am not able to connect to the internet.Wireless connection shows "No internet access" I have to go to the router admin webpage and save the WAN settings.I don't have to change any WAN settings(have Host name as blank and MAC address). Just need to save the settings again and I can connect to the internet.Once i do this i can flawlessly connect to internet until i power off the router.Though it is not a big deal, I am curious to know why this issue is happening and how to fix it.

TIA

PS: I checked connecting the modem to a belkin router and there was no such issue.

seems like the router isn't saving the settings you entered. This looks like a firmware issue, did you contact akeo support ?

Did not try contacting support. Will do that when i go home this weekend. In the meantime, is it really that settings being not saved properly is the issue.Because the MAC address is shown correctly. The thing is I just need to do a "save" again.

Figured out the problem - The modem should be switched on before the router is switched on.So I switch on the modem first, wait for some 20 seconds and then switch on the router and no issues in connecting to internet.Earlier I used to switch both things on together.
