Monitors Issue with Monitor display

done. quick question, loaded a game of league of legends and the monitor kept going blank whenever i engaged in combat or every few seconds randomly and issue continued even after I exited the game. doesn't seem to be happening now after I restarted the PC. any idea on why that might be? using the DP cable that came along with the monitor.
