Market Feedback Issue with Seasonic India \ Tirupati \ The ITWares..

Guys,
I have given my Seasonic 520 Watts PSU for RMA..
The PSU is ~6 months old and has 2.5 yrs warranty..
Since Tirupati dont have stock nymore, they decided to refund..
The PSU was Originally bought for 4.3k and they refunding me just 3082 rs:@
They says they will provide refund based on their original product price (i.e.)3.8k...
Spoke to Rahul about the matter and asked him to refund atleast with respect to price that was paid for PSU and he denied saying
"Its not my matter of Concern..Its between you and Tirupati..My jobs ends up once goods are sold ..Cant provide any help with respect to RMA...You directly speak to Distributor.."
They offered my Seasonic 620 but asked me to pay 1.8k+

Plse provide me with suggestions such that no hard cash is involved in between the transaction..
Wat should I do?? Should I accept the credit???

bargain for the seasonic 620w.. try to reduce the price....atleast i did when my abit mobo was replaced with msi p35platinum combo...they asked me 1000 but i bargained and i paid 500rs....just request them in a emotional manner:P
 
Asked them that I can Pay +1k for 620 but that fellow denied saying u will hav to pay 1.8k...Aso the original price difference between a 520 and a 620 is just 1.1k at TheITWares site..

No help from ITWares as well..He says "I cant do anything inbetween.I can only credit u the amount they will pay me".....

Also, ABIT is closed ..Though they provided the mobo..Seasonic is still on and also good with respect to service at other places.. Problem is only with Mumbai branch..Theses buggers dont even reply to mails..
 
I mean, Warranty is repair or replace with same/equalent or higher end. No question of refunding less amount from Supplier/Dealer/Manafacturer
 
^^ Well then go with 620. These dealers are very rude and if you start arguing with them, may be you'll get justice but after 1 year or so. :)

So better get the credit note or buy the 620 they're providing.

TRUE...I Even agreed on paying sum cash for upgrade but they says credit is the only option from their side.. Asked them to provide me with the same model but they says its outta stock...So why should bear the difference inbetween...

I asked them to credit me w.r.t my original amount which comes to 3.4k but they says RAHUL should also refund the profit he earned at the time he sold the PSU..Said the same to RAHUL, he denied saying I am not responsible for RMA's..U speak directly to Tirupati...
 
^^ Thats very bad of Rahul. BTW Try to get the credit note for original amount from both Distr. and Rahul. BTW I've heard a lot of members having some bad experiences with the their RMA service.
 
Dont budge. They should replace with the same or better product. Its their headache. Ask them to give 520 or force them to give 620 if they dont have stock. Dont pay a single penny extra. Write to Seasonic and post on all major tech forums and send the links to Tirupati guys.

Does Intel or AMD ask you for extra money if that dead processor is not in stock and they provide a better one. Or by Seagate or WD for their harddisks.
Whats up with these shady distributors asking for more money.

They SHOULD replace with the same or better product. They are just jerking u around for avoiding that.

Dont give in.
 
do NOT pay them, if your model is not in stock its their fault not your. Mail this to Seasonic CS and raise a issue.

Ideally you should get the next model without any amount, but even if you pay something that should be well within margin.

And how the heck they can ask Rahul to refund his profit? He is a retailer, how come he is responsible for RMA. shoot a mail, do not wait.
 
@ OP - As conveyed to u earlier i can give u watevr they give me if they give me Credit Note of X amount then will giv u the Credit Note of the same amount , I cannot give Cash as they are not giving me Cash ... Basically i can give u watevr they give me.

No service center will give Cash to anyone for RMA please understand that.

3800+ Tax is my CP they have calculated 3082 accordingly.

AFAIK they have even offered you a Brand new VX 450 which costs 3500/- atleast they had offered me the same.

I will mail this link to some higher ups at tirupati lets see if that helps.

PS. Bad mouthing me and my conpany is not going to help but as we all knw all dealers out there are dependant on Service Centers for Warranty , i always help my customers, how u think i am reponsible for RMA and i should give Cash towards the same , i donno and i am sorry i cannot do that.

Get the VX450 dude. IMO, its not that bad compare to your SS 520. BTW Rahul, do escalate the issue, may be something good will happen.

No one asks u to refund ur Profit..Atleast reply back to ur customers with +ve attitude rather than saying "Its not my concern. My part of work is done by providing u the warranty" and raising ur hands up from the matter..

Getting A VX 450 is not a big deal but they ppl promised me to giv a 620 and I was asked to Pay 1K more..I agreed on this but today they mailed saying ur amount of 3082 is credited.... When I asked them abt 620, they replied saying I will have to pay 1850 more whereas the Market price of a 520 and 620 differs by 1.1k..
 
For something that's just six months old, they can't really give you crap like this. Don't pay them a single penny. Don't settle for anything less than a 520W model. Ideally, the dealer should also have helped out with this. The attitude that "my job ends once the goods are sold" doesn't bode well for his after sales service!
 
I never told him that watevr i said i have written in the above post, he says give Cash how can i give Cash if i have Credit Note , same thing i told him , he is just angry coz i said i cannot give Cash and i can only give u what service center is giving me.

They should replace with same or higher rated PSU. Replacing with VX450 rather than just replace with original or refund it is unfair, price differance between Seasonic 520 and Corsair VX450 is Rs. 600+. This is blatantly unethical behavior by Tirupati.
 
send them an mail telling them u will sue. the rules clearly state a replacement with equally priced model or repair. why should u settle for a lower model. keep bombarding them with emails. also contact the seasonic company directly and tell them ur problem.

dont get a vx450. its less than a 520 which is almost equal to a vx550.

I never asked even Tirupati for credit or cash...Just forward them this link and ask them , did I ever spoke to them about cash or credit...
I asked cash from u bcoz i was in need of cash at that time and it was 3-4 days ago..Since then I never even called u assuming Anil will do the needfull..But now even hes denying from it..
