send them an mail telling them u will sue. the rules clearly state a replacement with equally priced model or repair. why should u settle for a lower model. keep bombarding them with emails. also contact the seasonic company directly and tell them ur problem.

dont get a vx450. its less than a 520 which is almost equal to a vx550.

I didnt received ny such mail from Tirupati as such.. Its acceptable for me but this happened only Bcoz I started a Thread here and only then Rahul spoke to Tirupati..

Rahul, If u would have entertained this matter b4, I wouldnt have even started this thread....

How should I proceed further ?? Would I have to collect it from u??
Also, till when can I receive it???

Lets get it and be done with it, as already said, make sure you get the remaining warranty on it.
 
Call Tirupati service center now they will agree to give u VX550 check with them when they will give u the same.

That's great news . Refunding only 3800 or asking for more money for better model simply wasn't acceptable. Mapreet should be happy with the VX550 now :)
 
Spoke to Tirupati and they agreed on the same..Still waiting for a reply from their end on mail!!!!!

Rahul has always been a very trusty dealer, though he can be 'too straight' sometimes :P not all customers are going to take it well.

OP : You shouldn't have really pulled in the dealer here as its clear case of RMA screw-up by the distri. Also never negotiate for these credit note crap etc, unless you get a good deal. The way they are trying to pass off a VX450 as a replacement shows their shady practice.

Its in your right to demand for a better product incase the same replacement is not available. Thats what any product's warranty terms are in general.
 
nicely handled Rahul....my hardware dealer has no time to give me even price of what i need .. but i have faith in him that his price of prod. is cheapest in all gujarat...
