PC Peripherals Issues with Front Panel Audio Ports on Cabinet

Hey Guys,

As the title says, my cabinet's front panel audio port (speaker/headphones out) is not behaving properly. It takes a lot of effort for my input jack to 'fit in' properly and play audio from it. I want to change them and replace with new ports. The Front USB ports are separate and are not on the same panel, AudioOut and MiC are together.

Does anyone know where to buy these ports? or suggest how i can fix them?

Your local market should have suitable/hackable replacements if you carry a sample. Ebay (not India) should also have the exact replacement easily available.

Have you thought of keeping a short extension cable permanently attached to the front port, and plugging the headphones into the extension?

I was looking for them on Ebay & Lynx India but couldn't find. Even went to Lamington road but couldn't find, but i didn't carry the sample with me.
Even extension won't work as that too wouldn't fit properly because of lose port. :(

Thanks for the search bro... you're awesome!

However, I already know about this thing and even found them on Lamington road. But I don't want to get into manual soldering thing.
What i want is something like this but only the audio ports: http://www.logicsupply.com/images/photos/cables/FPAudioUSB_big.jpg

Another thing that can solve my problem is available on Ebay India, but I wouldn't spend soo much as all i need is the audio ports (spending for all other things i don't need is pointless)

Good Luck with finding one that lines up exactly with the screw holes in your cabinet.

If you want it to work, so do you.
