A kind request to all peoples who works in big and small and medium IT companies located in India as well as abroad :)

Please if you got your HR contact details , please do forward me.. :unsure:

My college has appointed me as a coordinator for placement, and my HOD has asked me to bring some numbers of HR of various companies, so that they can contact them for campus placement in our university :)

Hope some of you might share good details, please dont post confidential information here, it will be better if you PM me :)

Regarding university standing, sorry i really don't have any knowledge about it.

i am looking for companies who are looking to recruit BE. CSE freshers :).
 
The forum is going for upgrade since you have so many threads in general talk that it cannot handle anymore.

Oye, you have interest in only your branch? What about others? They don't need to get placed?
 
If you are a student there. This is not a work of any student. Being student (not smart), you should not be asked to gather such information. All the universities and colleges have TPO (Training and Placement Officer) for that. It's not student's responsibility to get connected with companies for campus recruitment.

Not true for all colleges. In our college, the Placement Office was run by students and one professor appointed to look after it.

The current placement coordinators selected the next ones and the chain thus continues.

@blkrb0t is correct :), and actually i had been asked to look after my branch placement only :)

and yeah, i will be just gathering information of HR's, and will pass it to my TPO, who in turn will coordinate with the HR office :unsure:

Well, then this is quite worrying fact. Universities and colleges get publicity on the base of their placement volume. Asking students out for HR details is totally weird. :-( Don't they already have arranged campus and got tied with companies before? Worrying fact.

Our college is one of the top colleges in our city when it comes to placements. The major companies are all covered and their contact details are easy to dig out from past history and seniors, but there are some companies which are not regular recruiters and may be hiring only now and then. And the HR keeps changing too, they may be allocated to different duties within the department.

It's always better to get as many details directly from the source to avoid wastage of time and effort.
