It may be a year old, but Gears of War is still one of the prettiest games out there, and it's only looking better and better on PC. Now, PC gamers know when they'll get their hands on it: Shacknews reports the Games for Windows port will hit retail shelves on November 6.
For those who don't know just how much has been added to the PC version of Gears, soak in the following: even better visuals with and DirectX 10 support; five new single-player chapters, including an epic encounter with the Brumak; three new multiplayer maps, as well as a new King of the Hill mode; and finally a map editor, which will no doubt lead to tons of user-generated content.
