guys m planning to buy the new itouch 32gb ...help me out with prices
(mumbai) :)

is there any big difference in price if i get it from india ... or usa ..as my relative is cming next month

The Apple India Store shows the price as 21,200, adding taxes and all it could be around 22000 bucks.

In US is 399$ + taxes.

My advice is to get it from wherever you find it cheaper.

Apple honors worldwide warranty, so there are absolutely no issues whether you buy it in India or abroad.

Also if you plan to buy it from India,be sure to check online sites. I bought my 16GB 2G for 16k from indiaplaza, while big electronic shops in Delhi were selling a 8 at 17k :O
 
bro..will check online sites as ebay indiaplaza n market here in techenclave ...bet u will get d deal much better dan the local dealers in ur place.....hope u get ur pod soon.....:hap2:

are you sure you dont require a proof of purchase ?? cause if you get from Alfa or the likes they dont provide you a bill iirc

Absolutely sure, you need no proof at all.

Apple honors warranty through serial numbers and this comes off my personal experience too.
 
No you don't need any bill. my brother has replaced his iPod many times and they never asked for any bill. they check warranty status from the serial number
 
okay don't wanna hijack this thread but if we get an ipod from america, don't we need some kinda adapter to plug it into our electrical socket ?? If so where to get them??

You mean electrical charger? ipods don't come along with one, you just get a usb cable for charging and syncing the ipod with the computer. You can buy a charger at apple store but due to the universal popularity of iPod, it will be mostly 100V-240V so it will work here as well. You can get duplicate chargers here very easily, there's one at indiaplaza.in for 200rs :P
 
Now that the $ is on high I suggest you wait if you can then pick up from America. Got one from my Uncle and though it was a gift but the 16GB 2G was just 299$ which according to the conversion rate that time ~Rs.13500
