Watched Dispatches - Terror in Mumbai again just to refresh my memory.
Its sad that Ajmal Kasab's trial is not yet over. But it doesn't really matter if he is given the death penalty or just left to rot in prison, as long as he is not on the streets. He was just a brain washed foot soldier. He tells his father sold him to Laskher e Taiba for money. If its not him they can find many other poor guys just like him. India should really be targeting their handlers who were in call with them and get the top brass of Lashker e Taiba. Most probably these guys are from ISI itself.
With the government(not just UPA) only interested in making money and a incompetent old External affairs minister who doesn't even remember what he's supposed to do there is no way the situation will ever improve. We just have to get some inspiration from the US, go offensive and start bombing all the terrorist training camp in POK.

He will end on the gallows. We all know that is how this is going to end. A fair trial is everyone's right in our democracy. Simply slaughtering him would at that moment blind the lines between that animal and us.
I am angry that the trial is taking long. I don't buy the 50cr bull-crp that takes to keep him alive. But let the procedures follow or we are no different from the enemy we are fighting.

When i heard that shops were being closed and a bandh was being called the next day i went

It could have been a much bad scenario had Pawar been killed that day. Similar to '93.
TBH, I still ont get it what taking so long to finish the trial. He's of no use. Dharti ka bhoj..
Besides he must have lived a king-sized life in India... its high time they bring the curtains down.
