Aha!!

Finally its raining here in Mumbai and i can smell the earth:clap: ;
unlike the 5second Cloudburst a few nights back that did nothing but shoot up the already high humidity:@ !!

Tomorrow is gonna be a very sweaty day!!:P
 
not at chembur..central surburbs...btw within 3 days it will start heavily here......it has goa cost....

btw bikey dont drink and post...jus kiddin

It has been raining heavily in Bangalore for the past so many days.... today I got drenched while coming back from coll :D .... And it is soo cool right now. Brilliant weather!!! I actually feel like sitting in class :P

And luckily Bangalore not being a coastal city, there is no humidity to bother us :D ...
 
I hate rain, last yaar I had to walk back from Pedar Road to Dadar in neck high water level! And that just HAD to be the day i took along my dads new 8MP Cannon digi cuz i thought I could take some pics of Chowpatty beach :p

But noooo000 the stupid rain HAD to fall and it destroyed a 34k electronic good.

btw it took me 3 hours to get back home.
 
Its not Raining Right now in Bangalore ! The whether is very very Plesant ! Its a Bit cold out here too ! Had to switch-off my Fan ! :P

Yeah re...it was underwater for 3 hours wat could u expect...and i couldnt carry it in my hands, it was too heavy and i was just too tired.:no:

Yes, the average water level was about sholder high for me, and im 5 11'..dunno how tall i was back then.It was in my college bag and everything got wet, including my cell phone.:@

See it actaully went like this, I was in my lecture and during the lecture an announcement was made saying railway lines have been blocked blah blah and then we decided to leave.Seeing that it wasnt raining THAT heavily, a couple of my friends and me decided to go to Chowpatty beach to get some cool snaps of the waves comming right till the footpath.
Then i realised it was begenning to rain pretty heavily, so i decided to take a cab back home.I sit in the cab and leave...40 minutes later i realised I have just reached Pedar road when in normal circumstances it takes 5 minutes to reach Pedar road.So i decided to walk it after seeing that insanly long trafic like.Since Pedar road is situated on top a hillish type surface the water level wasnt that high, around my waste height, but when I reached Haji Ali , thats when I realised things were going out of hand, with no means of contacting my parents and no other alternative place for me to stay I decided to carry along.
The road near Verli was mad, water levels reached neck high.Sometimes i even bumped into something underwater which I then realised was a CAR like a honda city or a maruti esteem.
3 hours later I reached home, since my compound has a slighty elivated surface area as compared to the main road in front of my compound, there was no flooding in my compound, I literally just collapsed and my building neighbours and friends helps me get home.

That was basically how my experience was.So, from that day forward I HATE rainy season.
 
^^ ya same experience here man!!!! but i was neck deep in gutter water!!! took me three hours to reach home tooo! :(

but b4 leaving from college.. we all put our electronic items in polethene bags and that really saved us... and me too since i was carring my ide 80gb hdd(ide-usb case) , my cell and my friend`s creative mp3 player.. that very day!!!! :( had to seal it tight though... .. and chked it asai reaching my place.. everything fine :).. phew!! .. all those electronic goods are still working fine even now :)

anyways.. it was yes a very torturing day.. had to walk all the way from parle to jogeshwari east.... the best part was that there wasnt as much water logging until jog.. but well getting home from the highway to my house(whichtakes 5 min to walk) took me an hour. simply cause of a 8feet water block :(

wat to do.. had to take the long cut. which was worse actually! and finally when i reach 2 min from my house... i right next to this wild river! it was horrifing cause the water wasnt too high maybe 4 feet.. but the flow was too fast even for big vehicles like tempos.. that were literally taken away by the water like it was a weightless object! oh man that sucked seriously!

somehow had to go through that to reach home. otherwise i would have been stuck there for the wholenight...and tomm would never have come for me!

finally did reach home ... couldnt clean myself up no frigging water supply! lol... and anyways after the rains the tank that stores water got filled up with gutter water! ...

the next day was def torturing for us... esp for my sis.. since she wasnt week and needed immediate medical attention! :( :( :(... but somehow we had to manage for a couple of days b4 we showed her to the doc. and everything was alright in a few days ...

also i developed major skin infection :(.. man those daags all over my body... that was one horrible sight... all gone with constant medication .. thank god!!!

but no matter what happens, i`ll always love the rains... maybe for a reason that doesnt hold any meaning anymore.. but it would always be for a special moment with someone i loved very much! ...

and err bikey. no rains here man!! wtf.. def your overhead tankie is leaking man .. get it fixed!!

or maybe someone is watering their plants late at night?? :bleh:
 
Water cut in my area since past few days!!
But don't worry, i still bathe myself twice daily!!:P

And since my building compound is tiled, there's no way i could have smelt the fragrance of wet earth when it first rains!!:P

And how much i wish someone would have spiked my coke with some Bacardi!! :ohyeah:

It rained in Nagpur a few days back!!
So most prolly these are Northern winds carrying over some almost spent clouds!!
No wonder you Townies down south didnt get it- over by the time it reached there!!:rofl:

Also its raining down south and up North since quite few weeks!!
So as per original forecast about first showers in end of May are quite ok- especially considering the overcast condition today!!:ohyeah:
