itunes alternative

I have got a ipod nano 4th gen. I am trying to sync new songs from my pc. But when i try to sync i get a warning that the present songs on my ipod will be deleted. I had reinstalled my OS and the itunes prefrences and settings are gone. I am sick of using itunes.

Are there any alternative that you guys are using. Thought of using floola, but heard its full of bugs.
 
@swordfish, looks like automatic sync to ipod is enabled in iTunes. Disable that and check if you can add songs without removing existing ones.
 
guys m havin a problem with my shuffle that when ever i try to arrange the sequence of songs in order of time ,album or artist it doesnt chnge in my shuffle n remains the same ....

help .... if OP has a problem i can start another thread :)

I used sharepod and it works like charm. itunes sucks big time.
 
Hehe... do this:

1) Download latest Itunes.

2) Format entire ipod.

3) Install itunes, restore ipod.

4) Enable "disk usage in Itunes for the ipod.

5) Uninstall all apple related softwares, itunes, bonjour etc.

6) use SharePod OR Floola. Both work amazing.

7) Itunes = 80mb +

8) Sharepod = 2mb rofl! Does stuff which itunes cant do. Even Floola is great! Dump itunes forever, its 95% bloatware!

restore and upgrade ur ipod using itunes
then use floola
i think that wil solve d problem!
