Somehow I seem to have been infected by this iVdopia menace. Whenever I visit moneycontrol or engadget in my HTC Desire's browser a 10-15 sec video ad appears first courtesy iVdopia. This has started in the last couple of days. This was the first time I came across this company so I googled it and found this:

Its bugging the hell out of me and I am unable to get rid of it. I uninstalled the latest 2-3 apps that I had downloaded but the annoying ads still remain.
I got hit with and AD today that I could not stop and Killed my battery.
The above thread didnt help because my phone is not rooted.
Any other android phone users experienced this? Any solutions?
